Ok, since Jeremy's pictures from the Big Island are all in NEF, it's going to take awhile to convert them all to JPG, so in the meantime I will blog about the rest of the week...if I can remember it...I'm so behind! AHH!!
Ready, set, go!
Thursday, Kian, Aku, and YiBu all left early in the morning for Malaysia. Sad face. No more gallivanting around late at night with the cousins! And by that, I mean Jeremy, me, Kian, and Baby. Jeremy had created a few crazy games for us to play while we perused the streets of Waikiki including: seeing who could walk and break through the most couples/groups of ppl walking together, legit photobombing, and tapping someone on the shoulder and seeing if they would do a 360. Baby kept on laughing her head off and almost giving everything away. Haha.
Anyway, Dad, Mom, Jeremy, Baby, and I all decided to make it a beach day. So we went down to Waikiki's beach, which, btw, is not a real beach...it's totes man-made...should've gone to Waimanola! Jeremy wanted to try surfing...which was a fail b/c there were barely any waves that day. Baby and I decided to get paddleboards which proved to be hilarious and really fun! I took Jeremy out the first time and thankfully didn't fall...we laughed our heads off at Baby b/c she kept on falling...we're so encouraging, aren't we? ;) Then Jeremy paddled me around...except he is apparently less coordinated than I am b/c he lost his balance and we both fell in. Haha. I took mom around too and then she decided to try it for herself and did super well...except for when she went over a wave...she fell in after the swell...haha. It was so funny! By the end of the two hours Baby had finally mastered it after falling in quite a number of times and with some coaching from me...haha. It was a miracle that I didn't fall in...I'm usually the one with horrible balance.
Since I didn't take pictures of the next two days you're going to have to look at a ton of pictures of us attempting to paddleboard...haha.

| First time paddleboarding! Why am I the one doing all the work?! |
 |
| Baby about to give up....hahahha. She's so cute. |
 |
| Jeremy and I trying to coach her on how to stand up. |
 |
| Mommy's got this!! |
 |
| Right as Jeremy and Baby flipped...I died laughing!! |
|
|
 |
| I'll save mommy some embarrassment by not showing the next picture of her falling. ;) |
 |
| At the beach!! |
 |
| Jeremy only caught one wave...since there really weren't any that day...haha. They gave him a long board which he didn't appreciate. |
After that, Baby wanted to try the aqua cycle out...yeah, it looks easier than it really is. It's especially hard when you have short legs like I do. =.=

I'm glad we all got to get a little sun that day...I really needed it. Although I was trying my hardest not to get tan lines in conspicuous places since I'm in Kelsey's wedding in a few days. I only partially succeeded. I have a weird tan line on my upper legs and nose...but I think that's from the weekend. Shrug.
That night we were in search of a felafel place that we heard was good...and somehow ended up at a dive shop. Haha. Whoops. But we ended up finding the felafel place afterward. For some reason I don't like felafels that much - I'll eat them, but they're not my favoritest thing in the world...but these were some amazing felafels! Mom originally didn't want to eat there b/c it was just a little food cart, so they went across the street to a Vietnamese place while we were eating our felafels. So after we finished that we went over to the Vietnamese restaurant and ate more food....sigh...I'm getting so fat.
Friday we...uhh...actually I don't remember what we did in the morning...walked on the beach? I feel like there was something else we did. Oh, right...we went to get more felafels and I went back to the dive shop and both myself a new mask! Tusa Serene FTW - can't wait to try it out next month!! =D We also browsed through some of the souvenir markets there - yay for being super touristy!
In the afternoon my family and Yubee's family all climbed up the Makapuhu Lighthouse trail. So gorgeous!!

We said our goodbyes to Mom, Dad, and YiBu and then the rest of us that were left went with YuBee and Kalani to Buca di Beppo...reminds me of my BMA days where the highlights of our weekend was when one of our parents would drive us half an hour so we could eat there (and by "there", I mean in PA...lol).
Then we had to say our goodbyes to Jeremy. So sad!!
My uncle and cousin were supposed to stay with me in the hotel room that night...but they ended up staying in the other room...so I was all alone in the room by myself that night, which was a first for me...a bit creepy, I'm not going to lie. Lol.
Saturday we all woke up super early and the rest of us took taxis to the airport. Auntie Beth, Baby, and I froze as we flew over to the west coast...that was the first plane I've ever been on that had central air in the cabin as opposed to individually controlled air.
Made it in one piece to LAX and I got to rent my first car!! Haha. It's similar to my car at home so it didn't take too long to get used to. Survived LA traffic and ate at Sanamluang - amazing Thai place!!! Drove the rest of the way to Ryan's house...and then after unloading the car turned around - with Tara in tow - and met Ryan, Shar, James, and the Kid, to get Fluff Ice. It's totes better than Suno!! Also, Tara is so much cooler than her brother. ;) Hahaha.
